330d LCI Software updates with Autologic; what I-Level would it be?

Hi Guys,

I had my 330d LCI in for a service and a number of other jobs over the past couple of days.

As part of that; I had the software updated as it hadn't been done for 5 years.

The chap who upgraded the software wasn't in when I collected the car but his colleague seemed to remember that the new software was version 77 as Autologic called.

What I-Level would this be in BMW terms?

The benefits of the software update are that BMW have refined much of the software over the years.

The main benefits I've seen so far are a slicker gear shift as mine is an automatic. The driving characteristics also seem a little slicker and mpg seems to have increased a little.

Is this something that only BMW can do? Reason I ask is my 320d LCI auto is going in for a major service soon and wondered whether I can get mine updated too

I'm also intersted in finding out if only BMW Services can do the update. And how can I check if my car is up to date?

I used Peter Van Der Veer in Huddersfield for my update. They used Autologic in this.

I'd suggest using an independent as you're more likely to find someone who knows what they're doing!
