DC Area Dealer that will update my iDrive Step Version?
I was just at Passport getting my standard service/oil change - and I asked about getting an update to my iDrive (I have a 2014 328i xDrive) - it's on NBT_B
They said they'd do it but they'd charge me $290 to do so. Are there any dealers around the area that will do this for less (or free)? Annapolis, NoVA, DC, wherever. Thanks! --Matt |

Instead of just asking for the update, you need to give them a problem with the car that requires an update. If you say you're having a problem streaming Bluetooth music and can't update to the latest version of ConnectedDrive, they should update it free of charge.
