Differences after the 1200 mile service?
The only difference I noticed is much smoother downshifts with the paddles. Better rev match, the previous jerkiness eliminated. I didn't ask for the smoky burnout thing to be activated, not my style. What a cool car.

Congrats on the new car.
There is nothing done during the break-in service that should effect the way the car downshifts. It is likely you feel a difference simply because you are going a bit more aggressive on the throttle now that you have had the service done. The DCT downshifts most smoothly with more revs. There is also no smokey burnouy feature. There is the launch control feature, and it should have been enabled as part of the service regardless of whether you asked for it or not. If you find yourself curious, read the manual or search this forum to learn how to try it out. Enjoy the car. |
