UK M3 Cabrio Price Announce

Here is it:

The new BMW M3 Convertible goes on sale in April 2008 and costs £54,655 OTR. The optional M DCT Gearbox will be priced at £2,590.

(M3 Coupé: £50,725 OTR and M3 Saloon: £49,310 OTR).

It is about £3930 more.

I think US price will be around 61K.

For some reason I remember the e46 M3 Cab to be around $10k higher. Since the current e93 is a hardtop cab I'd say the same will probably be true for the e93 M3 cab. So expect MSRP at around mid 60s+.

Yeh I'd guess 10K more.

If it'll be available in April in the UK (per the referenced link above), how soon do you think we'll be able to place orders here in the US? I'd like to do ED. Any guidance appreciated! I've been waiting months for this moment ;-)

I bought a 335 E93 in April'07, at that time Vert base U.S. MSRP price was $49,100, Coupe was $41,295; $7,805 diff. So extrapolating that info for the M3 E93 the U.S. MSRP base price should be: $56,500 + ~$7,805 = ~$64,305. Ja

I think it will be closer to mid 60s...but def. less than 66 IMO. After you option that sucker its going to hit 80K easily out the door after tax, title, reg.

Frustrating Sales Advisor

On guidance from a member in another thread, I actually tried to get on a waiting list for an e93 order this past Monday (and had deposit in hand). I must have completely baffled the sales advisor at BMW San Francisco. She asked me if I'd considered the options I'd like, and I presented her with a sheet I'd put together clearly indicating E93 plus lots of extra goodies (M-DCT, tech, premium, cold weather packages, iPod, etc...). She took the list (in person), then later in the day sent me the following e-mail:

"The first of the M coupe' s have been ordered and are available for sale and there is one that is the right color and may work for you instead of an order.

Jerez with the Black Novillo leather
cold weather
premium
technology package
19" wheels
Moonroof
rear sunshade
park distance
HD radio
satelite radio
USB I-Pod adaptor
premium sound

In the meantime, BMW has sent out a memo that all the 19" wheels are on back order and will not be available for cars in the March production which brings me to the question: How soon are you planning on taking delivery of the M?"

She completely missed the fact that I was talking about the CONVERTIBLE. I replied stating such, and I've heard nothing but crickets since. Go figure. I'll have to make another personal appearance.

Did anyone else have trouble actually getting on a waitlist? Is there some secret handshake I don't know about?
