Talking Custom 19" BBS LM's on M4 // KW V3's // TAG Motorsports

By this point, we have all seen countless different ways you can mod the new F80 + F82 Chassis. Wheels, Drop, Exhaust etc etc etc seems to be the ticket right now, but how can you take that just a little bit further? Ask our client Brett - He brought us his F82 M4 about a week after he had purchased it. The first round was simple - JB4, KW V3, some spacers, and an Akrapovic Catless down pipe.

After about 2-3 months of debating what wheels to go with, the BBS LM's was the wheel he kept falling back to. Since there is no fitment for the F8x Chassis from BBS - some custom work had to be done. New lips and barrels were needed to get the right fitment, while it was stripped, he also had the wheels redone in a brushed finish which accented his newly polished lips nicely.

After the car sat down, Brett realized some BMW Performance Aero parts would really add a finishing touch to the car, so the front lip (with carbon) was added as well as the side skirts. They both were left in the raw plastic finish to give some contrast.

Mod List

-19" BBS LM's custom built for F8x Chassis
-265/35/19 & 305/30/19 Michelin Pilot Supersport Tires
-KW Variant 3 coilovers
-BMW M performance front lip
-BMW M performance carbon fiber front splitters
-BMW M performance side skirts
-Akrapovic Catless down pipe
-JB4 Tuner

What do you guys think? If you have any questions at all regarding any of the parts you see, please feel free to contact us by clicking HERE or PM for more details.

I clicked expecting these wheels to make the M look super dated almost giving it an e92 look. I was wrong though! The car looks spectacular! Fitment and style looks great. I love the brushed look on the wheels, gives it a little punch in the closeup.
All around a very tasteful car here!

I had the same thought at first. I am extremely satisfied the way this car turned out. With the 305's in the rear this thing looks so mean.

Do you have any issues with rubbing with the KW V3 and the 305's? ALSO, what are your thoughts on the sound of the stock exhaust (valves open) and the Akra catless downpipe combination? I've been looking into it and all signs point to Akra. Any CEL?

Thank you for the support! I think its one of the cleanest modded M4's. With the fitment on the wheels we use we haven't had any issues of rubbing at all. Running the Akrapovic down pipe on a stock exhaust actually sounds pretty good. Anything sounds better than the completely stock exhaust set up lol. On this build we just installed the downpipe for now because the client is waiting for the new AWE exhaust. I think the new AWE tuning exhaust is going to be one of the best sounding exhausts on the market and at a really attractive price point.
