Lci and frm 3

Hi guys sorry if this has been done before. I'm starting to get a list of bits needed to fit lci halogens to my 06 e91. Obviously headlights , I've looked and Eco do valeo oe for 180 ish each which is sometimes cheaper than eBay. I believe I need a frm3 module to be fitted also. Does the frm3 bring any other possibilities with it eg coming home and leaving lights. Also anything else needed??
Many thanks

If you are switching from Pre-LCI halogen to LCI halogen, you do not require FRM3.

It is only required if you go from pre-LCI halogen to pre-LCI / LCI xenons and FRM2 is the one which works for 2005-2007 cars.

How much are Frm2's there on ebay @ around £80.00 is that about right?

Are they just plug and play or do you have to code a Frm2 into your car....

Pre-LCI Halogen to LCI Halogen are plug n play. No Coding needed. Halo rings work on side lights.

Fitted some to my 2006 E90 a few months ago.
