Is BMW bringing the 335 diesel coupe in North America?

Sedan may be first; but if they bring one, it'd make sense to bring both.

Sedan & X5. It is a wait and see strategy. Must be some interesting interoffice wagers at Woodcliff Lake as to how many diesels sell.

Currently, BMW says only the 335d (e90) and X5 3.0d will be available as fall 2008 arrivals.

The NA suits can't imagine that someone here in America who wants a diesel would not want four doors.

Have an insight - even a SWAG, what the pricing is going to be for the 335d? Additionally, the earliest we can place an order for one. For me the ideal situation would be a late July/early Aug order (or sooner for ED) and a delivery date in Sept. Any insider info you could share would be greatly appreciated.

Only the X5 and 335d sedan will be initially available.. I believe that the 535d will be the next one after that.

I'm guessing the the 335d will cost about $1000 more than the 335i...
