BMW Warranty Questions
Hiya guys,
Well my car is coming out of the standard three year BMW warranty shortly, and I would like to get the extended warranty that BMW offer. I was just wondering if anyone else has done this, and out of the options what did you go for? The BMW warranty options consist of Comprehensive, Named Component and DriveLine. I was also wondering if a remap would void the extended warranty? Thanks for your help so far everyone |

Sorry OP cant help with your question but am also interested in the answer as well as confirmation of whether the extended warrenty is as "comprehensive/bullet proof" as the original manufacturers 3 yr warrenty?

There wasn't much difference in price for me between the different warranty levels. It made sense to go for the comprehensive.
The remap does obviously void the warranty. The only way you'll get round that is if the dealer doesn't detect it or tell the warranty company. You're manufacturer's warranty would also have been invalid if BMW knew. |
