M4 Adaptive Suspension with KW HAS vs. M4 Non Adaptive with KW V3
I am in the process of selecting a new M4 that I will use as a daily driver & moderate use track car. I have a choice between 2 cars that are currently available for delivery:
1) M4 With M Adaptive Suspension - I would add the KW HAS Kit 2) M4 Without M Adaptive Suspension - I would add the KW V3 Coilover Kit Which set up would you say is more "Superior" for road use? Which set up would you say is more "Superior" for track use? My guess is: the one with the M Adaptive suspension would provide more flexibility for a daily driver? And still offer decent competence on track. And the one without M Adaptive and the KW V3 would be "okay" on the street, but would have the "edge" on the track? I will also add the H&R Front and Rear Sway Bars and will tweak camber etc. Appreciate everyone's opinion and experience! |

I chose the car without Adaptive suspension knowing i would add coil overs at some point, i just put KW Clubsport V2 in a few days ago and couldn't be happier the car is completely transformed and still more comfortable then it was stock Alex |

Choose the M without adaptive suspension if you want coil overs at some point.
Just installed KW's on a M4 yesterday. Same feed back as others. Rides smoother then stock and with the adjustment's you can make, you can dial it in for your preference |

I ended up canceling adaptive susp on mine and ordered a set of KW V3s. Didn't wanna waste my time with springs or sleeves. Been there done that and always end up with coilovers. If you track don't even waste your time with springs, you're better off leaving it stock than ruining it with just springs. My .02

Meh.... I like my creature comforts
For a road car, I think it's fricken awesome to be able to alter in my damping rates from the drivers seat with a simple, factory-installed button. Adaptive Suspension and HAS kit has my vote for a daily driver car.
