Has anyone seen this yet? or have it installed? will it fit with a thin protective case?

BMW really loves Apple. Wish Apple would design their IDrive interface for them. Granted I am saying that even before I get my 335. I mean I am sure IDrive is nice, but Apple could give it a nice GUI Interface that many companies just can't do (Including all the Japanese companies).

That'd be the day where world peace comes true lol...

On the topic of who or what designs the navigation systems, I heard the TSX navigation system is merely a chopped up Sega Dreamcast!?

Looks nice, I would definitely get one. I wonder if there will be any clearance issues with my ipod that 's strapped to the underside of the center armrest (6FL)??

the only image on bmwusa accessories for this cradle appears to be the 5-series armrest, which has its own phone holder built-in...this just has the iphone cradle integrated. i am not sure how it would work for the 3-series armrest witht the cooling cup holder and 6fl connection/holder. i think it would be cool, but i do like my 6fl for my iPod. wish someone would explain or show installed pics!!

Well that page is a page for the 335i, so I assume it has to fit decently otherwise they wouldn't sell it if it didn't fit.

That's cool that it hooks into the car's phone antenna. I should have gotten bluetooth, I can't keep my phone in the armrest without bluetooth so I just use an iPod.

i realize that, i just think it would kill the space in a 3-series armrest as its not the size of the 5-series armrest, pictured. again, i would love this mod, but i don't want to canibilize my 335i armrest!

Ah sorry about the confusion then. Yeah it does look like it would take up a whole lot of space, I have a bit of junk in my armrest right now too.
