Imperfections;

1) CA Buy-Back Title:

• Original owner custom ordered car under European Delivery Program
• Car was driven on salted German roads for 4 weeks upon pick-up before being shipped back to CA in Jan/2010
• Owner complained of "under-carriage rust" -- BMW told them car met factory specifications 2 times, had to buy car back on 3rd complaint in accordance with CA Lemon Law -- Result is, car has a Lemon branded CA title
• I purchased car with approximately 6k miles (BMW had not even done first service)
• I cleaned up "under-carriage rust" with a wire brush -- Car has been 100% problem free since day 1
• I have all documentation explaining the title situation
• Car has had only 2 warranty issues in 66k of service -- 1 faulty LED bulb and a faulty seal in the HVAC system
• Car is being discounted accordingly to account for title

2) Minor Crease in Rear Bumper
• Accidentally tapped a metal post backing up in tight San Francisco parking garage
• A top notch shop quoted me $750 to repair
• It's barely visible, so I never bothered to repair it

3) Wheel Curb Rash
• One incident took a small chunk of tire bead -- Tire was inspected and deemed 100% safe, so I did not replace since tire was 1 week old at the time
• Few other minor wheel rash sports consistent with normal use

4) Minor rock chips consistent with vehicle age

Bottom line, this is an amazing car and turns heads wherever I go. I bought the car not caring about the title situation. . .I planned to drive it into the ground due to the legendary reliability of the naturally aspirated straight 6cyl / 6sp manual trans combo. I am only selling because my employer is paying for a new C300 for me.
