Have just read a Swedish car magazine where they tested BMW X4 30d.
According to BMW technical data the output is max. 258 hp but when the magazine did their own testing, the engine performed much better. +20 hp = 278 hp
Suddenly my car feels much stronger

I believe that German manufacturers announce what is their "guaranteed" power, and also, historically, cars have been prepared for journalist evaluations....

With the 8-speed, you should have "good enough" acceleration/performance

Bmw is known to underate their engines, so in theory you get more
