Any Other Dealers Running Similar Promo?
I have received 2 separate promos from BMW, one 12/2007 and one this month.
Each one offers to buy back my 2007 car at fair market value towards purchase of a new 2008 at my original dealership. Are they having trouble moving 2008s or is there some secret hidden value to the 07s? Cheers.. DLW

I dont think they will actually give you fair market price for your car. They might give you fair market price for a trade in. Anyway you slice and dice you are better off selling the car on your own. Ill even play devils advocate here, even if they do give you true fair market value for your car, do you really think they will discount the car for the way they would for someone without a trade in. Or will they give you the true money factor or true residual. Unless you come in there knowing full well what the MF is and residual is they will rape your ass. F*(&kin dealers and their bullshit promos

I think your better off selling it on your own and then jumping into a new BMW. Unless you dont mind bending over for the dealer and letting him stick you. But Im not one to judge.

What's messed up is if I go to kbb.com, trade-in is only 3k less than I paid. It doesn't take a genius to know that a 335 loses 6-8k as soon as you drive it off the lot...
