iDrive to non idrive - who can do it and what do I need
Hi Guys
I really can't stand the i-Drive in our touring, its the old one and literally don't ever use it and its more of a pain in the arse than anything. Am I going to cause more further problems down the line removing it and going back to the good old days and use my double din head unit I have got, it does far more than my idrive does and the fact i can get a better sound out of my speakers and add a boot install is more appealing to me than a button on the centre console Thanks in advance |

I am sure it can be done but will cost money to do it and will probably lose money on resale when it comes to it. Non i drive cars sell for less from what i have seen. Personally i would not buy a bmw without i drive even if i did not use it.

Thanks Sparky.
OP, read what jordan said and think carefully. I'd leave it alone.
