IMO they look far to bright and therefore cheapen the look of the whole car.

Tbh too bright really and anyway I'd be a little worried about the heat dissipation.

The main thing for me is the fact that in the summer, the standard 'daytime running' is very poor. They're useless in the sunshine and I thought that's the very idea of them in the first place. OK, they've become more of a 'fashion' thing and do look nice, but functionally, they're pretty poor. The LCI did a great job, well let's be honest, they had to to confirm with the EU daytime running laws for new cars. I think it's a waste of money trying to replicate the LCI brightness (being DRL adequate) Even the expensive LED options don't manage to light both rings.
