M3 Mirrors Now On

**1/17/15 EDIT - To everyone who was wishing they found these mirrors for such a deal, there's an even better one in the classifieds right now**

Merry Christmas to me!

Been wanting these for years but could never justify the new price of these.

Randomly one day I came across a totaled M3 that was being parted out and got these for a great deal. Then I decided to go with the cf mirror caps because I knew I would eventually, and the original caps were sparkling graphite. The weather is horrible right now and the car is filthy but I'll try to get more pics at some point.

I was too busy with family over the holidays so I dropped it off at my local bmw shop and they were surprised how easy it was. Literally plug and play after removing the door panel to access the mirror mount hardware.

I just looked up getbmwparts.com and these are 1,775 new before shipping. That's insane.

Thanks! I did it so I didn't have to hassle with repainting the caps to match. But I'm torn because the CF can hide them in dark lighting.

But overall I'm happy I think I went with the cf.

Looks awesome man. I'm gonna have to keep my eyes peeled for a set. Did you retain all the functionality of the stockers? Particularly the angling down when reversing?

Yup! Everything works, my car came stock with power folding mirrors and I made sure the set I bought did as well.

My new M3 mirrors still have adjustability, right mirror tilts down in reverse, and power folding is still present. I believe these M3 mirrors are auto dim and I don't know if my stock ones were or not.. But that doesn't concern me. I'm just glad they all work! It was pretty much just plug and play.

I have the right hand mirror and have just ordered the left hand one at the local stealership.
Cant wait to get them on��.
Bougt a pair on ebay this spring but despite me asking if they fitted a E90/91 the seller sold me a set for a E92/93. Found out when I tried to fit the right hand one ��

well bummer! but I'm glad to hear you are finally getting squared away! They are going to look great and I love being able to see a mod from inside the car.
