the paint job on the wheels is clean, i dont think they look on the car though. they do make perfect winter wheels though.

I have alpine white and thought about black wheels too.
But I have imola interior and saw a white Cayman with red wheels an it looked nice. GT3 has same color scheme with red mirrors. I was also thinking maybe just red calipers or just inside the spokes red... |

That is a Porsche ... it is purposefully tacky and overdone. I don't think that color would work well on this car at all (in my eyes, that Cayman looks hideous)
Stick with the safe color and I think you'll be happy for many years to come (I think you'd be sick of red wheels in ~2 weeks) |

ditto red wheels makes me automatically think of ketchup... anyways i have an AW roadster and i considered black wheels. i definatly made up my mind that if i do get the wheels changed i wouldnt go aftermarket. somethign about aftermarket wheels and "high" end cars screams cheap and tacky to me. if anything i would do black powdercoating on my factory ellipsoid (107??) wheels. as well as a 35% tint... BTW your coupe looks AMAZING!!! |

That looks great! I think I am going to do that to my stock wheels once I get my ZCP wheels re-painted and put them on. My stockers will now become my track wheels....
Here is a photoshop of Rom3n's car that a couple guys on e46fanatics did for me.....The wheels are getting painted next week.

You may not like the Cayman but the >$130K GT3 comes in a few colors with deviating wheels.
Those CSL wheels with red lip might be the low key way to do it. I just want to tie the interior to something on the outside. Maybe Imola red calipers. |
