M Performance automatic shift knob install help

hey there just picked one of these up at the dealer. anyone know of a DIY post with instructions to install? appreciate the help!

well that was a fail. after I got the screw out, I apparently pulled too hard on the aluminum piece. now the lights only glow amber; they don't indicate the gear selected (p, r, etc.). I can't even imagine how much this would cost to fix. I'm not DIYing anymore.

Sorry I'm just now seeing this post. I did my install and it was easy except that small torx head screw. Ended buying a new set of torx head drivers to fix such a small size head. I don't remember the cover being hard to come off after removing the screw though. What exactly was the sticking point in removing the cover after the screw removal?
