M4 Ride Height vs E92 335i M-Sport

I am going to look at buying an M4 with adaptive suspension tomorrow but my driveway is a steep incline that my old E92 335i M-Sport only just cleared without grounding out. Is the M4 any lower than my old 335i?

the clearance on factor M suspension is really good! I wouldn't say its lower than the e92 m3. Perhaps one of the vendors can measure the front end ground clearance.

I think you will be ok!

Coming from a 2010 335i e92 with sptpkg and going to an F80, I'd say yes it's lower, especially the front nose. Not sure if this applies to your f82 but I would think so. I have found myself entering steep driveways at angles to aviod the sudden pitch, when I never had to before. You can always fill the bottom of your driveway crevice with some kind of filler to take out the steep angle of your incline. I would think it wouldn't take much.

I also came from a E92 335i M-Sport to an M4 with the adaptive suspension and I have also, a steep driveway. The design on the curb/gutters here in Sacramento County make it worse. I scraped my front bumper on the E92 many times on my driveway entrance. I have had my M4 4 weeks, but so far, haven't grounded it yet. I always try to enter my drive way at an angle. I believe that the front overhang on the F82 might be slightly shorter than on the E92 cars. I do have the 19" wheels on the M4 whereas the E92 335i had 18's. That may also be a factor, or maybe I'm just being a little more careful.

Thanks for the replies, hopefully it will be OK if I do end up buying it!
