Where's the Michelin Super Sports?
It seems that the M235's have dropped the super sports and have gone back to Runflats. Is that the case and why have they gone back to Runflats?

Link? I'd be surprised if they did that, as it would typically require a pretty big retune of the suspension.
Edit: Nevermind, I found it in the specs and features section of bmwusa.com. The xDrive comes with all season runflats, but the RWD car still comes with Michelin PSS. Just another reason to forgo xDrive. Unless you live in the mountains, a set of Blizzaks is all the "xDrive" you need.

The xDrive M235 also comes with MSS's....they're a "check box" option that will over ride the run flats when ordering. No misinformation please, the never ending debate over RWD vs AWD is obnoxious enough without red herrings being thrown into the debate.

PSS Summer option
On the build website there is an option to exchange to mixed summer tires.
This deletes the run flats and adds an 150 mph speed limiter and deletes the 130 limiter. |
