What's wrong with it? That's cheaper than if you had to buy it from BMW if your turbos blew.

In all seriousness, isn't that technically impossible? Didn't they swap out some aluminum for magnesium during the transition from the N52 to the N54?

Looks like some low-life jacked them turbos and are selling them in ebay. Poor guy whoever turns on the ignition and realizes that he/she doesn't hear the faint whistle anymore.

These things do happen. I've had two friends with Toyota 4Runners get relieved of thier catalytic converters in the last month. No, it wasn't me.

No, obviously he upgraded his turbos and is selling the stock ones off. Why would a thief "jack turbos" and try to sell them online? He could make just as much money from the wheels and it would be less difficult and easier to sell.
