New wipers
Don't know about the rest of you, but the stock wipers on my f82 suck. Drivers side wiper leaves bad steaking right in my line of sight.
I found that none of the wiper options state support for our cars. However, I just installed rain-x qbw-a and qbw-e and they work great. Passenger side wiper is one inch longer but fits fine. These are the part numbers listed for the 2014 428i. Just wanted to mention this in case anyone else is looking for replacement wipers. |

If the wipers are garbage replacing them with the same ones likely wouldn't help.

You ever consider applying aquapel or rain-x (aquapel is the better option). Personally at speeds above 30mph, I don't even use wipers even in the snow. way more cost effective and better that any wiper. I just do a layer every 6 months. Best 3 bucks spent.

Stock wipers on my F80 work great...maybe it's an F82/3 issue ?
Did you try wiping yours off to see if it was just dirt or debris causing the problem? |

+1 Wiper streaking is almost always caused by gunk on the blades. You could have the best wipers in the world, if they have dirt on them, they will streak. One paper towel probably would have fixed this.

Weird. Mine are perfect. In fact got its first rain just yesterday and I was commenting to my wife how ridiculously good the wipers are.

In my experience BMW oem wipers last much longer and work better than all aftermarket alternatives I have tried including bosch, rain x etc. For my old e46 m3 I still continue to buy expensive BMW wipers because everything else has been inferior. Perhaps it was just a defective set. Plus they're covered under warranty and when you multiply $50 by the amount of time rain x wipers will last without streaking (probably 6 months) by 4 years you're talking hundreds of $.
