I heard Summer of 2015 is the earliest possible date, but we will most likely be able to begin PCD in the last quarter of 2015. (Just what I heard from a CA yesterday).

David talked to some higher ups at BMW and they stated that the logistics etc.. still need to be ironed out but they are shooting for PCD in about a year

BMW will mostly be using Thermal's tracks until their part is completed sometime in 2015.

Add your name & date to the list if you sign up. They allow cancellations now and 14-days prior to the event so I may change to the 2-Day, but right now I'm undecided.

I asked the PCD folks in Greer,SC. The instructors stated that it was only for driving school and that deliveries at least for the time being would still occur at the PCD in South Carolina or at the Welt in Munich.

Asked this same question just over a week ago at 2 Day M-School and was told the same thing.

I can probably rent a car for one tenth of the price and still have some fun ... It might not be the same as the M school but $4K that's quite some change ... Check out Sixt they got some nice rides to rent

True, it's expensive. When I went to VA, this also included a hotel room and several meals. But, the instructors actually teach normal drivers the skills to drive fast, safely. I learned a lot when I went. Most of the instructors are former race care drivers who can translate their knowledge to the rest of us. It's different then just renting a car.

Why is the two day school more expensive than two one day schools? Lol

or is their no "advanced" one day option

I did a full day performance driving school at Laguna Seca with Bmwcca for $350. It included 6 30 minute track times with instruction in between. Much cheaper and probably the same thing as the $1550 one day thing

Although this was bring your own car too. Most of that cost with m school is due to providing the car and insurance.

Exactly. I beat the crap out of the M3, M5 and M6 for 8hrs on 2 consecutive days. Again, I agree it's really expensive and wouldn't want to do it to my daily driver. But, the M3 I drove, they changed out the tires and brake pads during lunch and I was able to beat on it afterwards. You're not going to drive you're car like this. (Well, most people)
