procede v2 dyno expectation

hey guys i have a dyno scheduled for monday
and would like some feed back on what to expect.
currently i'm running 94% accross the board on 94 octane.
maybe it just me but it doesn't seem to have the same
feel as v1.45.don't get me wrong the car pulls very
strong but it doesn't seem to have the same
feeling in lower rpm's. any thoughts
i also posted the dyno results from v1.45

well chances are your not making 400 lb ft w/ V2, it feels slower at low rpms, but its not.

this is a dyno from v1. next week i will be going to dyno v2
just wanted some feedback on what to expect
and i should do any changes

that sounds great but will it compensate for the lower torque
at low rpm

With the newer firmware and new maps on V2, it brings back a lot of the low end tq we had with the 1.47

im running map 12 24 with torque settings at 94%
but the low end torque doesn't feel the same
with v1.45 any gear you were in and pressed the gas
the car would take off. now you get that feeling only in higher
rpm range

more boost down low generates more heat up top. without other supporting freeflow or cooling mods its hard to get good power up high and down low...

Heat that would hurt up top, where what heat?

Don't say the intercooler because that's not true higher boost down low will create no significant "heatsoak" on the intercooler. The amount of heat that needs to be dissipated at low RPMs is a fraction of that at high rpms and is well within the capacity of the stock cooler at whatever we can put out.

when I said "up top" I meant by the end of the run... the longer the run, and the harder the turbos run early in the dyno run can effect the final top end hp at the end of the run in the top of the rpm band, you can see the same effect by running back to back runs. You might not see this on the road, but you can see it on the dyno, especially ones without proper ventilation

its been proven with some of the v2 dyno's that when you dial back the user tq settings down lown, you get more hp up to, because the turbos have not generated as much heat...

search for the v2 dyno graph collection thread... leftcoastman was the one that posted about lower tq settings down low gave him higher hp up top

youll make way more power at 94% on 94 octane than that dyno but that was abnormal torque for 1.45!
