AA Xede after about 1000 miles........
For those of you who has AA Xede, please chime in.....
I have the Xede on my 335i and when I drove it after the initial installation, the car seems to pull in 2nd around 2500 rpm all the way through 4th gear. And I mean, it PULLS, I can literally feel myself being pushed back into my seat. Well, after about 1000 miles or so of driving the car w/ Xede, I feel that the PULL that I had around 2nd gear/ 2500 rpm has gone down. Meaning that it doesn't strike me as hard when i put my foot down on the throttle.....I have the R7 map and no other mods besides this one (except for the AA BOV but that doesn't help in HP). Now, it only pulls hard (but not as hard) in 3rd gear/3500 rmp and on up through 4th/5th gear. And I also don't feel the torque as much when she pulls either........ First I thought this might be because the ECU has fully adapted to the OEM ECU and such. But I just wanted to get your opinions on this issue....... Thanks

Did you have R7 from the very beginning? If you had another version before, like R3, the kick back feeling was much stronger with earlier version. R7 is very linear in power delivery, almost like stock.

I'll agree with everyone else.
You got used to it. OBI has a good suggestion. Reinstall the map.

Flip the switch back to stock mode and drive that for awhile.

Admitting you have the problem is only the first step. Next step is ACTION - for temporary relief, apply a set of downpipes and stomp on the gas in the morning.

LOL, for one, your really are used to it... two, i installed my r7 today(from r1) and when i started driving i though my switch was in the stock mode... then i pulled over, flipped the switch and felt like i was driving a civic lol, then flipped it back to r7 and felt it again... the torque delivery isnt as aggresive but trust me the car isnt any slower...

You can also try resetting the ECU by disconnecting the battery for like 30 minutes. This might bring back the original "feel."
Its possible the ECU learned to pull timing because of a tank or two of lower quality gas.

I also feel the same with my JB2. At first it was a huge difference but now I don't feel it as much because I am used to the power. This happened with my WRX too each time I added a power mod... I'm sure Formula 1 drivers feel that their cars could be quicker too... There is no end to this!!!

as suggested above, reset your ECU by unhooking the negative terminal on your battery for an hour or so. If it still feels the same, you are just used to the power.

Definitely just flip the switch like a lot of others suggested. It'll feel like a 328 and you'll wonder what happened to your turbos.
