Cutting e92 335 oem stock rear bumper

I want to install quad tips onto my 2009 E92 335. Can you cut the rear bumper and have room for quad tips? Or would it look bad? Thoughts? Any other alternatives?

You can do anything you put your mind too. There are a few ways of going about it, use some painters tape, and make sure your cuts are even on each side.
