Carbon Fiber Roof Clear Bra Treatment

How many have done the clear bra on the roof of their cars?

Is it really necessary?

I guess there is a chance to get rock damage on the roof area, but how big?

I've been considering this too since I've been told if CF gets any damage, it really can't be repaired due to how it's made.

I did it and no regrets. Mad at myself I didn't do it before I got a rock chip.

I did a strip just on the leading edge, which is where most of the rock chips happen.

where is the rock chip? Or do you have pics of it? Want to determine if I need it before actually getting it.

I didn't take any pics of the nick and it's so tiny that you would have to look for it. It got hit right in the middle towards the front of the roof. You should definitely consider getting it wrapped in full. I wouldn't do half as the car ages you'll see swirls on unprotected area and will look bad.

Did you do the wrap yourself? What brand did u use, and mind if I ask how much it was??

Get a matte clear. Might look pretty cool.

I got mine done with xpel ultimate.

I don't want any chip damage before it's too late. Cf roof is not repairable.

I got mine done 4 weeks ago, Worth the investment at least for tree sap or bird dropping alone.

I threw on a 6 inch strip of expel at the front of the roof...figured it couldn't hurt anything and you barely see the line.

I had it wrapped after the front end and finding that chip. My guy charged me $300 just for the roof.

Im getting my whole roof done before I take delivery, specifically because I do not want to get a rock chip somewhere on the CF.
