Z4 Non-factory tires

So I just got these 19" M6 replicas and trying to determine what kind of tires to go along. Pretty new at these custom tire/rim stuff so looking to pick your brains for some answers/tips.

Front Rims: 19/8.5
Rear Rims: 19/9.5

Questions:

1) What is the largest tire I can install for front/rear without making any mods? The guy who sold the rim recommends 235/35/19/F 265/30/19/R and he knows it fits.

2) Tire recommendations? I'm thinking one of the top 3 rated Max Performance from Tire Rack:
- Bridgestone Potenza RE050A
- Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
- Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3

Thoughts? Any reasons why the Michelin is like $400 more (for a set of 4) than the other tires? Too bad the Potenza isn't avail in 265/30/19 for the rears; unless I go with 275/30/19 and not sure if that'll fit.

Garage List
I picked up a set of 19" 167 m6 replica wheels for my BMW Z4 as well with the EXACT tire sizes you mentioned front and rear. I opted to go with the General Exclaim UHP tires since they are by far the best bang for the buck IMHO. I also have the General's on my '05 BMW 525i with the 166 m5 wheels. I absolutely LOVE these tires. Great tread life, great wet traction, no road noise, and cheap, cheap, cheap.. I've had these tires mounted on my 5-series for 2 years now (non-snow months) and have at least 70% tread left.

The tires you mentioned are obviously better performance tires, but if you're anything like me and use your car mostly for commuting but have the occasional spirited drive 2-3 times/week then the Generals are for you.

Man, I should be a General tire rep. Honestly, I have no affiliation.

Thanks guys. I checked out the reviews on Tirerack on General tires and quite a few people said that it gets noticeably noisy after 4K miles. How many miles do you have? Lets see what Mr. General tire rep has to say about this

BTW, nyczyang27, I got the rims from the same place you got yours, per your recommendations. Thanks. They simply look amazing. They are so nice that I feel bad putting them to use lol.

Yeah they are nice.. especially when they are spinning @ 5-10mph . Anyways, i know quite a few people with 9.5 rims wrapped with 275 tires without any problems. Not sure about noise issue with General tires after 4k miles since I only have about 3k miles on them.. so far so good though.
