Is the BMW Magazine subscription free?
Hi, does anyone know if the BMW Magazine subscription that you can get shipped home at the owner's circle website is free? Thanks.

It's really just a marketing tool. But it has pretty pictures of cars I can't afford, so it's fun to look at.

I had my E92-335i at the dealers shop last week and they had piles of free copies of the BMW Magazine everywhere there. It is after all advertising, so this makes sense.

I get it free but to tell you the truth, i wouldn't pay for it. Really isn't that great. If it wasn't free i would read it. Maybe once every 3-4 issuses i find something really interesting but other than that.. .. .. Nothing. It says like $4.99 on the mag but mine comes free and pretty much every BMW dealership in southern calif. i've been to has a stack of them sitting around in the guest lounge for free.
But is that true it only comes free with a $50,000 auto purchase? I lease my car and i get it.. .. .. .. |

You got that backwards...the car is free and you pay $50,000 for a magazine subscription....a la "Sports Illustrated"....

it is free but you have to resend the renewal card once in a while to have it keep coming. it is totally a marketing tool though.

Also free with purchase of any BMW...you get 1 on each wheel, 1 on the hood, 1 on the trunk lid, 1 on the steering wheel and 1 on the engine cover.....did I miss any?
As an aside, how can something be free if you pay for it? If you walk into Dunkin Donuts and they hand you a cup of coffee without taking money from you, that would be a free cup of coffee. If they give you a free cup of coffee with purchase of a donut, that is not free. BMW magazine is free because no purchase is necessary. There is even a price to pay for freedom...and not let us forget that there is no such thing as a free lunch. Free the Chicago 7......
