Just got my new E92 335

Just got my new 335 today. I traded it in for a B6 S4 with full-back exhaust, and I am obviously missing the V8 sound and the 335 is way too quiet. So, I am looking to just do a cat-back system. What do you guys recommend? I am also thinking about doing the JB2 chip, what are your guy's opinions on this chip? I will also be adding the BMW aero front lip.... and I want to change the angel eye light bulbs to the white ones, which ones are good?

Thanks guys!

Personally, I'd look at the Vishnu options of ECU before I looked at anything else. Just look at the websites.

Congrats on your new e92! I've had the Juice Box JBS2 on my car for awhile now. One of the few ECU tuners that don't trip CEL's (Check Engine Light) Great product, service & price! My 0-60 times went from 5.40 seconds stock, to a 4.38 0-60. And this is in my Heavy e93 convertible...I've since added the"Hot-Pill"(=12 to 15 rwhp) and the "R"Switch from the juice box product line.
I'm looking at Quad Exhaust, like you I need a little more exhaust noise.

I do agree that the Vishnu will be a better chip, but I'm really not willing to pay that much for that chip.

Nice man! Yea, I just looked at their website and for an extra 15$ I'll be doing the Hot-Pill. BTW, the modding has started already! Golf tee mod

Haha, I will post pics up, but not now. I have to take the car back to BMW to get a couple things fixed (dents and deep scratches on hood). And I am waiting until I get tints!

Maybe I'll do a mini photoshoot with the 335 and s4 this weekend.

If you like a very aggressive exhaust note ... Eisenmann Race full 1-3, Eisenmann Meisterschaft if you want a more conservative sound. The Supersprint sounds nice too. Eisenmann Race is very prone to drone in the low 2Krpm range, but nothing sounds so sweet in the upper revs, IMHO. The drone is significant, so be forewarned. You car will not be at all refined (as stock) when cruising in the low 2K's.

As far as engine performance goes, get Vishnu's PROcede or the Dinan flash, unless thrift is the only factor. PROcede is my overall recommendation for upgradeability, reliability, and overall performance. I've had the PROcede (V1-2.02) from the beginning and have experienced zero issues. The Dinan flash is a great option, unless you lease, desire an extended service/maintenance contract, or are focused on maximum performance. The JBS2 is more of an experiment in internet forum psychology than an engineering project. Congratulations on the new 335! You'll love it more each day.

Any other recommendations for exhausts? As far as intakes go, what is out there?

Here is my take..

Tuning:

Split Second Turbo Tuner (easiest install, no CEL, and nice power)
The next three are all good too, but a little more tricky to install.
Xede
Procede
JB2

Exhaust:
Arqray (best sound in my opinion)
Supersprint
Eisenmann street set up

Congrats on your car!! You will love it.

Thanks man! Do you know if GIAC will come out with a flash for this car? Im leaning more towards a flash rather than a chip...

What are your guy's opinions on a custom exhaust? By custom, I dont mean companies like Supersprint and Eisemann... Im talking about going to an exhaust depot and buying the pipes and the mufflers...
