Kicked OBDII port

I was in a hurry and happened to kick the connector plugged into OBDII while sitting in .. the pieces holding the port broke but ports fine just hanging on its own weight ... Is there a way to fix this,

Happened on my old truck! Size 15 boots + OBD port don't work well.

My solution was to buy a blank OBD port, and remove all of the wires from the stock (Broken) OBD port, and transfer them into the new blank port. Keep in mind, if you mis-wire ANY of the connections, it could fry any tool plugged into the connector in the future.

Maybe call your local Indy and see what they'd charge to do the swap?

The housing part number is 61136954580.

Removing the pins from the broken housing is a pain though, you need to either buy a tool to remove the pins, or make up one (I used 2 drywall knife blades ground down to fit inside the housing)

Just leave it. Mine has been like that for 2 years and have no issues.
