The suspension on the xi . . .

I wonder if the regular i suspension is the same as the xi suspension. Or perhaps the xi suspension is in between the regular i and the sport i suspension. Anybody know?

its different. Front shocks are shorter to make room for the axle.

I coilovers will not fit XI cars...well..they will but you have to modifiy the shock, grind out the shock housing to make it fit, and in the end it gets lowered to about what a stock I would be with sport package..not worth it. Rear fits perfectly fine.

XI suspension allows the car to ride higher from the ground and the components are not made of aluminum. As far as I know, the sport and non-sport have similar shocks, sprints, and tuning as the non xi.
