Engine Ticking 330i e90
Last night I installed my new Simota Intake, went out for a drive came back and with the engine running, opened the hood and much to my surprise the cold air intake was still attached, but more importantly there was a light ticking coming from near/under the oil filter area. I closed the hood and it was barley noticeable, but with the hood open it is audible. It could have been there for some time and I am just now learning of it. Any ideas?

thanks, I saw that article. The more I listened the more is sounds like an electronic tick, possible from the alternator. I like the Simota
