Code to Start in M Mode?

Is there anything in coding to make it start automatically in one of the M Modes, without having to press the M button (either one)?

Or if that is not possible, anything to make it so you don't have to press an M button twice (once, and then again to confirm)?

while a bit annoying, I don't think its that big of a deal to press one button, and you only have to press it twice if you choose to take DSC off

You know, I get that this is the internet, and everyone feels the need to speak up and be heard, but honestly, why would you even bother to comment like he did?

I mean, it's like going to a restaurant, ordering a steak medium rare, and the waiter telling you that he prefers the steaks medium well, and that everyone should feel the same.

Seriously.

Opinions, everyone has them.

Just picked up my M4 and this already annoys the shit out of me.

Also I parked the car, locked the car, went into a store, came back, started the car and the damn AC was on ::: I had it OFF when I turned the car off. How do you turn that feature off?

Nevermind, found out it could be coded OFF. Now if we can only code to previous driver setting.

Maybe in a future software update, this will not happen. BMW needs to take a page out of Tesla's book and do them over the air.

It's quite annoying to hit one button every time to get the car to behave how you want it to.

I feel your pain. This car has some default settings that are moronic

I talked about this in the suggestion area of the last survey I got from BMW. Maybe if everyone complains about this it will influence them to do something about it. They should really make default startup modes configurable, or at least return to last set values.

I also suggested that they offer settings to control the exhaust, and auto rev match independent of engine dynamics. I think I should be able to have the exhaust flaps open in Efficient mode, and disable or enable auto rev match in any engine dynamics mode. Why should I be required to have hair trigger throttle to disable auto rev match?
