JB4 2-step/NLS install problem

So I installed a new JB4 with meth and the 2-step/NLS relay. The JB4 works and the meth works but the 2 step does not. I have set the RPMs above 2000 and mash the pedal to the floor but all it does is rev all the way up never stopping at any limit I try and set it to. Its getting power because the three things are all piggybacked as shown in the install guides. I followed everything to the T but no love from the car or the relay. Anything I might have missed or is there a trick to getting it to work? Seems straightforward as were the other installs but strange that only the relay wont work.

The white and blue wires off the relay are supposed to be together correct?

Did you follow the DIY from BMS? I just did it last weekend with no problem.

Yeah I did, Ill have to double check all the connections this weekend. I did all three at the same time, maybe something got overlooked. Ill report back on my findings.

I had trouble also, but there is a setting future use d that must be set to 100. I did not have mine set and the 2 step did not function without that setting.

I thought I read that it was deprecated for the G5 board/firmware?

Tried setting Future use D to 14 and 100 as suggested. No dice.
Pedal signal shows 100 when mashed, low pressure setting shows 0 to 1 when Future Use set to 14 as noted in the install.
Last step is to touch the twisted pair to a ground to see if the car begins to stall.
Will try it this weekend.

Old thread, but did you ever figure this out? My 2 step has been installed for some time and used to actually work, but for a while now it just doesn't work exactly like you explained it. I know its installed right because it used to work. Also I have replaced the relay which didn't fix it, and all the wiring looks as it was when installed. Only differences are I have went single turbo and have a backend flash now.

Did you press the clutch at the same time? the instructions say you need to have the clutch pressed in for the feature to work

"NLS will cut engine power above the 2-step RPM set point when pressing the clutch while the gas is fully pressed"
