Hi all-
Been building my e92 2010 335xi over the past 2 years or so. Over the last year and a half I was being protuned via e-tune by well known tuning group and the car ran extremely well. Maps were smooth, and offered HUGE upgrades in regards to useable WHP/WTQ. Naturally, after getting everything pieced together I wanted to see what the car could do. 2 weeks ago I drove my car down to 1/4 mile track. Not really knowing what to expect, the best time I was able to cut was 11.914 @ 119.53 (slip below). I wasn't disappointed, but I wasn't thrilled either. After a few PM's from a few different board members, it was thrown out there to reach out to Wedge, seeing that he was now using the COBB AP for tuning. I reached out to Wedge over the last week and we got to work. I sent him prior datalogs from older maps I had used. Wedge forewarned me saying , "D. we may not be able to do much better, those guys are great, but we can try." Working with Wedge has been extremely easy. Maps are usually back within a day, feedback is thorough. Make no mistake, this is not a 1/4 mile only car, every tune I have gotten from prior tuning as well as Wedge is a DAILY map (300+ miles a week). I loaded my 3rd revision from Wedge and hit the track yesterday (Sunday) and the results were significantly better (only thing different was tune...fuel etc all same). Take it for what you guys will, conditions were nearly identical, gas levels were the same, car was full weight both weekends, gym bag, shoes, random crap in trunk, again I daily the car, I have 0 desire to rip seats out and put them back in. In the 2nd slip I am car 625 on the right. 11.624 @ 121.13 BIG THANK YOU to @wedgeperformance @BuraQ for all the help. Also, I know @Josh@COBB Tuning, has been communicating with Wedge/BuraQ, these guys are no joke! Last edited by Give_Em_The_DD; 10-27-2014 at 10:09 AM.. Reason: wrong tag/reword |

Congrats.....
For a 10* timing base map thats very good. Just need to iron out those throttle closures and your ET will shrink. Our target for you is 123 mph and low 11s |

Congrats I have the same car for the most part and a few months into the build. I have FMIC DP's DCI and just tried some E30 for the first time. Love it!!!! Did you upgrade fuel system for the E40 map from Wedge. I am debating trying an E40 map out now as all systems seem to be in check. Thanks and congrats again!

Yes I went with a new OEM bucket + 255 inline pump from SteveAZ. It was plug n play and took me about 40 minutes to install (30 of it being trying to get the rear seat off and messing with one of the stupid clips) Link in case you need: http://www.fuel-it.biz |

Nice times!!! You running meth or just FBO E40 to pull the 11.6? I have fuel kit, and can run E70 content so I'm excited to see what it'll run!

the map we used for this run was at about 80% potential. As @buraQ mentioned a few posts up, we were using a mild 10* timing base map. @wedgeperformance and I have some work to do, dialing it in should be fun Hoping to go back to the track this weekend and turn some heads Wedge FTW |
