4-post Car Lift Install
So yesterday I added a new toy to the garage, a 9000lbs 4 post lift. It is the Direct Lift 9000 Pro Plus, after a ton of research this is the lift that i decided to get, one of the main reason is because it is actually certified at 9000lbs. The time lapse is over about 6.5 hours, I had the gopro take a picture every 30 seconds, made for a crude time lapse, wish i would have had it take every 5 seconds but it is what it is lol

Thanks!
I drove my car on it and i still had plenty of clearance, the real test will be when I lower my car haha, but they always make longer approach ramps to accommodate lower cars and i see your from grand rapids, we actually picked up the lift up at Automotive Lift & Alignment which is just south of grand rapids in Kentwood

They make rolling Jacks for between the run ways so you can jack up the car on the lift, I will be getting one eventually, but for now they give you a "jack tray" that you can put a bottle jack in to jack up the car and then out jack stands under the 4 jack points. We are lowering the black car you see in the picture next weekend so I will post pictures of the car jacked up

Wow, thats pretty nice.
I love how your garage is at least 6 times the size of an average one over here! Amazingly most new builds over here you can't even get a car in! Not jealous though. |

That is my exact lift http://www.directlift.com/Pro-Jack-4500-P56C18.aspx I will eventually be getting this or something like it You have to see what size lift you can fit in your garage and go from there.
