Not sure what to do with M Performance parts
Hi guys, i am about to place an order on M performance carbon parts for my M4, but not quiet sure what to do with the lower front lip and side sill panels. I am thinking to paint the front lip the same color as the car and leaving the side sill panels black.
Does anyone have pictures with the lower front lip painted the same as car color and have left the side sill panels black? If so, how does it look? Thanks |

My car is mineral white.
On some pictures with the front lip being black, it looks like something is missing on the front of the car. Don't get me wrong, it still looks good but i think painting the lower lip will complete the car. I would like to keep the side sill panels black, but unsure if it will blend in having the front lip white. Thanks |

the problem is, that pictures does not really justice the flaps and the lips.
I was also thinking what to do, because I didn't really like the carbon flaps. But if you see the car with flaps and lip in real - this looks really great! Otherwise get it installed first in black - afterwards you can still get it painted. But I am not a fan of the painted lip and panels. |

There are some photos of a white M4 with painted M Performance parts here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1001007
I think the contrast is nice in white, another option would be to paint the 'CRT' type stripe along the front edge only, leaving the rest black.

Ive seen both setups on white in real life and I like both actually. Whatever I decide to go with Im sure i will regret it so I'll probably go with the unpainted less expensive option. Plus I know Im going to scratch the hell out of it.

I am really loving the way that color matched lower splitter looks. Now i just want to see some photos with the side skirt panels being black. Anyone?

One more question, what do you guys think if i painted the side sill panel in gloss black? Will it look too much? Thanks |
