Good grief do these tires lose grip in colder weather. It's been in the 40's at night lately and if I get on my car at all I totally lose the back end. I had 19" Potenzas on my 335 and didn't notice the lose of grip like this. I didn't realize the Michelins were this much softer.

For sure! My 0-60 test run from mid 70's performed again in the low 50's added .8 seconds with too much wheel spin.

that's crazy!

Just talked a friend of mine that has a 850 HP, Twin Turbo C5 Corvette. He is running them and said he has to be real careful in temps below 60. I guess I know what he means now

Still debating when to switch to my winters. A couple of more sketchy rides to the office at early morning temps and they'll be going on before thanksgiving!

Golf4501- have you tried warming them up with a few miles of driving and mild cornering and then testing - but yeah it is amazing how warm road surface and higher ambient temps make the tire sticky. But I was messing around in some cool rain and was really impressed by the grip.

I've driven on mine around freezing a few days now. So long as your aware of it and aren't powering around the first few ramps its fine. Where they will really suck is in snow and slush that has any depth.

Thinking about the same thing. I'll probably throw Winters on around Thanksgiving. That's when I usually do it in Chicagoland.

FTW I love these tires! But needs to be warmed up so if the temp drops be careful!

I think you finally know why there is an "ECO Pro" mode in the car!
