Looking to get an E92 Performance Spoiler (like the OEM High Kick and Carbon Fiber) and wanted to get your opinions when buying one on Ebay.

I have seen forum vendors sell it at a fraction of the cost of an OEM but are their products any different than the ones from Ebay whose prices are even cheaper?

I found a seller on ebay who I assume is located in California because of the California tax they are charging. Below is the link of the product. I am looking to get some recommendation on that item, or if anyone has bought from a seller in the past and can vouch for the quality and fitment of their product, can you please share which seller you bought from.

You can't go wrong with eBay spoilers. The fitment is so basic. My eBay seller was cqicqi which was recommended on this forum from someone else.

OP-I've ordered somethings off eBay in the past for my previous e92 335i which was an aero front lip. Fitment was pretty good of course there could've been improvement which is why the cost was so cheap.

I'd research more for prices on the forums, google, feedback on the seller and what not to help fit your budget. You can also PM me if you're curious on what we have to offer also

i bought mine directly from that same link. I can tell you the quality of fitment and craftmanship is much better than the same spoiler that I bought from one of the vendors here for twice the price. I won't name the vendor because I dont want to get banned here. I had to buy new one cuz some kid was trying to steal mine at night, he pulled one side up and the spoiler cracked in the middle (it cracks cuz its thin and shitty). Didn't feel like dropping over $300 to buy a replacement, thus I went with the chinese seller....which I'm so glad I did. Save a ton of money and got something much more solid. (they even included 3m double sided tape for the install..)

I've gotten two different "performance" spoilers from eBay vendors before. Both sucked.

The first one I bought had pics of the high kick spoiler, so I assumed that's what I was going to get. Instead, I got the low kick version. I kept it for a couple months, then decided to sell it and find a high kick version.

I went back to eBay and looked at a few vendors. Mostly every one of them had pics of the high kick spoiler. I didn't want to waste my time or money again, so I made sure to ask if I would be getting the exact spoiler from the picture, or the low kick spoiler like I got before. They assured me I would be getting the higher kick spoiler that was pictured, but sure enough, I got the low kick again.

This time I just returned it and went with a more expensive option from a vendor.

My advice is: unless you don't care if you get the low kick or the high kick, don't waste your time on eBay with this. While it's fine for pretty much any other product, most of them just don't know the difference and take pictures from the internet thinking they're all the same.

edit: this was also 2-3 years ago, so things may have changed, but I'd still be careful and be sure what you're ordering is what you're getting. It's just such a hassle getting a product you don't want.

With ebay it is a hit or miss
I would search for reviews made by people who bought that exact spoiler from the same vendor

Is this high kick? for sure?

I've ordered 3 performance spoiler from 3 different sellers.
One was low kick(picture was highkick!)
One had hollow bottom(impossible to attach)
One sent slim lip spoiler.

No paypal did not help me to get my money back.
They told me to ship it back at my own expense......Shipping back to China was cost of spoiler. Sold it to locally.
Now I have low kick spoiler.

Really want high kick.

Has anyone bought from emotors2000 and specifically this spoiler? I am looking to get one that is High Kick like the OEM one. It claims to be "High Kick" but you can never be too sure and their return policy makes the buyer pay for shipping back to China, which is not worth the effort.

Or if anyone has bought a High Kick spoiler and overall had a good experience could you please link me the spoiler

ppl have bought high kicks off him before. I almost bought one for my cousin until he changed his mind, so i had researched it.. otherwise who knows what u might get with the ebay vendors.

I bought the high kick spoiler off emotors2000. I purchased it on Monday and I received it today (Friday) and the fitment is AMAZING! I haven't installed it yet since its probably going to rain but based on just test fitting it, it is definitely worth the price.
