Bavsound Stage One for my M4 just arrived!

I opted not to get the HK system with my M4 (still deciding if I regret that decision or not) but I ordered the Bavsound Stage One speaker upgrades as I've heard good things and I needed to hear the difference for myself!

Stay tuned for pictures and a few before / after sound recordings!

Not right now. I may do the amp later on, depending on the results..

Yeah let us know, I would be curious to see the difference between the standard upgrade vs HK BavSound upgrade.

Negative, I would look on this link below on the F30 ( lots of good info and a few f80 owners are looking, posting info an upgrades). I know some people have done some nice upgrades with different components. But, I most likely won't be doing any upgrading unless its cheap and easy. Gladen, Focul seem to have direct fits for Bmws.

I actually have the HK, not the best I've ever heard. But, It (the M3/M4) just makes too much noise, the stereo sounds best with the engine off, dead stop... truth be told lol..I would keep that in mind with your upgrades. I think some sound deadening would do wonders if you did some audio upgrades.

I will as soon as I do the install. I received the box @ work and I haven't been home yet

. I'm debating on if I should install this tonight or wait until I see what bmw says on Wednesday about the couple of issues I'm having with my car after I drop it off.

What issues are you having with your car, and its nice to know I am not the only person that gets personal packages at work.

I love having stuff delivered to my office. Makes things so much easier then having to be home to sign, etc.

I've had my M4 for a little over a week now and for the first 3 or so days, everything sounded great... worked great, no problems. Then I starting hearing interesting things that I'm not too happy about.

The car seems to "cold start" every time the engine is turned off and on again. There is also some metallic clinking noises going on during startup. I understand that a cold start will be a bit rough but if I've been driving for an hour, stop for 5 minutes and turn my car back on... it shouldn't feel like it is cold starting for the first time after it's been off all night.

There is also a rubbing or "woosh" noise coming from the passenger side wheel that seems to increase / decrease with speed. I've heard another M4 with I was at EAS and I didn't hear any of these things. The exhaust is also very high pitched and "raspy" for the first 5 or so minutes, every time the car is restarted... again, haven't heard these noises on other F8x's so far.

Agreed, I also like taking shits at work, so refreshing....

Interesting, hopefully the dealership can figure out what is wrong. Hopefully its something minor like a Can Terminator.

Same here. Wish I knew someone with it. For now I'll wait for a good sub option. I think that will go a long way enhancing the current HK setup.

I am thinking the same, but everything I have seen has been $1500 plus for complete package Decisions, Decisions, Decisions
