angel eyes for e90
can anyone suggest me what type of angel eyes should I get for my in terms ( wattage etc).
Ebay has numerous options available but I am confused on what is the right type of lights I should get. I have attached the photo of my car showing which light has gone off. thanks for suggestions! Also could it be possible that some fuse has gone off for this car..Can I do any diagnostic test to check if the light is actually bad or not? |

Are you getting an error in the dash that one of your lights is out?
Also for led AE bulbs. Try bmwled.com or .net I have an 2007 e90 like yours also. Just get the highest wattage bulbs you can. Also do you have DRLs? DN |

I don't think a simple angel eye bulb will get you anywhere due to the fact that you appear to have halogens. If those are indeed halogens, I believe you can open up the headlight housing and actually install led rings.

This is something I've been debating on for months. You've got lux, mtec, or dtec which are all pretty similar with the exception of dtec. They are offering a 100w bulb that look very bright, however I've decided to go with mtec since those were the first bulbs I fell in love with. Try using the button, there's a whole thread on angel eyes.

If you want to get angel eyes like OEM ones you'll need to buy new housings with the xenon lights. You have pre-lci halogens which don't have angel eyes from the factory. Thus, just buying different angel eye bulbs won't do any good.

+1. your headlights are pre-LCI halgoen lights, and they do not have angel eyes. You need to get entire new headlight housings first if you want angel eyes.

I have aftermarket headlights for my e90. they are halogen but have a "projector" and are specified as non HID. they have halos. PHL-BMWE9005-AM-SM. they look really good, are smoked out, and have a halo. granted its a weak halo. im 100 percent sure you can upgrade the bulb and have a brighter halo. no codes either.
