V2 Data Log enclosed

Just a brief data log after resetting my ecu and reloading 12/29 map without moving percentages....

I am going to drive another 40 or so miles before making any changes.....this format looks nothing like I have seen from others.....looks like boost peaked at 12.9.

"Brief datalog"???

That's a very long datalog of nearly 9 minutes.

With a datalog of more than a minute or so, it's very hard to compare boost vs rpm

Zoom in on one pull and hit the "P" key to reset the scale on the boost graph. Change the minimum value to 0 and check off the "auto scale" box. That will reset the scale so that your max boost pressure is the top end of the scale and you'll be able to tell what your peak was (not the spikes).

You can also cut and paste the pulls to make them larger and easier to read and compare boost vs. rpm.

FWIW, your pull at approximately 300 seconds looks normal to me, but it's hard to tell without zooming in on that specific pull...

Ok, so I learned that the one I had posted earlier wasnt "brief."

Here are two from just a bit ago.....

the first one is a 3rd gear only pull and the 2nd one is a pull in 2nd gear as well as 3rd gear. What does this info tell you? (I know it tells boost and RPM but what would you do with this info?)

First picture: It tells me that you have the same issue as I have. When you start accelerating, boost is build up first ( 3000 to 3800 rpm ), then it drops down until 4600 rpm and builds up a second time until 5600 rpm. From there it tapers down normally until you shift at 6300 rpm. I don't understand the drop down, IMO this is not normal. The max. boost you are getting is a boost spike after lifting the pedal, this is normal and not seen by the engine thus the throttle is closed.

I wondered about that....How long should I drive on 90% before bumping it up?

The interesting thing you see in the second picture is that you have the same behavior when you start accelerating the first time ( at different rpm's ), after the shift you have a boost curve as it should be ( no boost drop, just normal tapering down ). Your car behaves exactly like mine.

I think it's fine to raise the torque values up to 92% across the board as soon you have driven your 50 miles with 90%. I would not raise more until we see how the next map ( v2.0.3 ) behaves. It is announced for end of Jan. / 08.

Up to then I will have my Forge Diverter Valves installed and we will know whether the Diverter Valves have a positive impact or not.

Shiv said we will be surprised

Gear-depependent user torque settings seem to be implemented. The O2 simms functionality for catless downpipes is announced. Customers are waiting for downpipe maps.

And hopefully other happy surprises ...

V2 has been announced originally with launch control and O2 wideband sensor support ( e.g. Innovate Motorsports LC-1 ). A additional physical valet-switch for switching maps "on the fly" would be great for WIS failsafe support.

The PROcede is a good device with a lot of capabilites. Shiv is an excellent tuner who knows the N54 engine and the PROcede interceptor in and out. Better quality and better customer relationship with better order management is key for the interceptor benchmark in 2008.

Does it fix limp mode? Just got another one today and noted gear, RPM and ambient temp: 6MT 4th gear, 5200RPM (downshift from 6th), 26 F.
