for my e90 330i w/ sport pkg, i've been able to use my friend's rhino ramps w/ no problem. some people have had issues where there isnt enough clearance (there are plastic flaps that are at the front of the front wheel wells that cause the ramps to be pushed forward), but i've always had good results.

Just got a set of rhino ramps and they work well. I have the oem sport suspension (not lowered) and there is just enough room to clear the front flaps dth656 mentions when driving up on them.
Make sure you get ramps rated strong enough to support the vehicle you are working on. Blitz makes several sizes of Rhino ramps, I have the 8000's (rated for 2000lbs per ramp). unfortunately, the max tire width specified for these ramps are 7.5" but they are still wide enough for mine which are 8.5". As for cracking it's something you gotta watch for each time before/during use and I'd slide in jack stands/blocks etc as extra backup protection. |

Rhino ramps worked on my E92 335i... just barely.. if I had splitters or such installed it wouldn't have worked.

what happens if one got an aero lip and want to do their own oil change? the ramps are plastic so would you have to grind away at it until you can clear at bottom?

i bought the blitz 12000 ramps from strauss auto but when i got home i noticed something fishy. 1. they sold it for $64 which includes tax while others sell at $54+tax. 2nd the label says 12000 but every picture i look at of the 12000 they are gray and not black.
possible strauss auto just put 12000 label on a 8000 black ramp? blitzusa.com, black = 8k ramp grey = 12k ramp thoughts , the reason i bought the ramps there at $64 is b/c none of my stores have it. but i think i made a mistake. |

I just changed my oil today. Bought a pair of Rhino 12000 ramps at Advance Auto for $45. My 335 Coupe with Sport Package went right up no problems. Not much clearance on the lip, but just enough. Oil change was a snap. How come people have a problem dealing with the o-rings? Took me about 5 seconds to remove them.
