Underseat Storage . . .

A while back, I had an Audi A4. One of the great interior features (which is minor, I know) was a set of drawers underneath the front seats. They weren't that big, but nice to store small things or whatever. They were concealed under the seats, and as such, my sister called them, "drug drawers."

Anyway, my question is with the lack of storage in the 3, does anyone know of an aftermarket equivalent the I can install?

Thanks for the help.

i miss my "drug drawers" from my B6 A4 also!

its funny that other people refer to the under seat storage bins as "drug drawers," the dealer must have forgot to check mine because I took delivery of my CPO B6 with a bag of unidentified pills under the driver seat. The dealer didnt catch them...but I'm glad I did before anyone else!

If anyone knows of a similar solution/retrofit on an E90, post up, I'd love to have some more storage in this car.

The subs are under the front seats, so it doesn't leave much room for drawers.

European version of E93 comes with a first aid kit inside a drawer under the passenger seat. No such luck for North American version - no first aid kit, no drawer.

It also comes with a warning triangle clipped neatly into a recess inside the trunk lid behind the license plate. Also no such luck here - no triangle, no clips. Just an empty recess.

Haven't found one yet. Tried the one that LeatherZ has, didn't fit. Andy and I talked about modifying the bracket, but we never did it. The drawer fits, but the bracket doesn't align. It's close though.

Keep your drawers on in the car. Use the sub-floor storage in the trunk for stuff you want to keep out of sight.

These are pictures of the underseat drawer and warning triangle from my E93 owner's manual. Can someone find the part numbers? Realoem doesn't have E93 listed yet. (The warning triangle is the same as in the E46, Leatherz sells them. Need P/N for the mounting clips.)

The subs are sunk into the floor; there's still space between the seat and the floor.

That's fantastic! The E46 had the same setup, and the drawers could easily be mounted after-factory under either seat for a little extra storage. The seats can't be that different between E92 and E93.

realOEM shows some storage compartments on this page for an e93.

Also my 2011 335d came with the warning triangle in the boot lid.

Only if you promise to leave it in the car when you have it worked on at the dealership.

I like the idea of more storage up front, so I ordered the parts from Tischer(Silverspring) for $28.. My car has the sport seats with the adjustable thigh support, I hope this will bolt rite up. Should be another fun mod to tackle over Christmas break.

Thank you for searching, but this probably could've used a new thread.

Btw, might want to read up on the threads where a spray tanning bottle knocked all the motor and springs off track on the bottom of the seat, rendering it unadjustable unless coiling the cable manually with a drill.

^^Yeah I remember reading that thread..

This is actually the reason why I want to retrofit the storage compartment. My GF is always losing her bottles of water or some crap up under there..

Hopefully this will eliminate that from happening any more
