Vacuum pump for wastegate adjustment.
Hey guys, anyone know where I can buy or rent a vacuum unit to produce EXACTLY 5.9 inches Hg. I have a hand pump (mityvac) but it's not really all that accurate. I want to remove my down pipes, set my wastegate rods perfectly and see how the valve spins when closed. I live in the LA area.

Get on McMaster Carr and look for a more accurate gauge. They have a 1% gauge, 1" marks, 1/4"NPT bottom mount for $24. 38545K16

Yep, provided nothing is leaking (it shouldn't), you just need an accurate gauge. Just pick the one that goes into your Mityvac - probably 1/8 or 1/4 NPT.
