Just got set up for coding, and so far things are going pretty well. However, most of the stuff I wanted to change is listed on Pikachu's sheet under HU_NBT, but my car apparently doesn't have that -- only HU_ENTRY. I can turn on TPMS display, but most everything else is either not there or called something else.

Any cross reference available for HU_NBT vs HU_ENTRY?

Main things I'd like to change are the startup logos and display for TPMS pressure and temp. FEM_BODY lighting stuff also appears to be different on my car, but I'll dive into that later.


M235i with Premium and Driver's assistance packages, no other tech.

I just came back from my garage... I don't have tech package either and only had the HU_ENTRY. I successfully removed the disclaimers and changed the animation to BMW M. The Cell Phone Ringtone did not work on mine.

Another thing is, it seems I (and maybe you too) only have BKOMBI instead of KOMBI and I thought it just means "basic KOMBI". I tried to activate digital speed on cluster and GPS sync of clock, but they did not work.

Well I guess this is the power of a Tech Pckg!

Well about the TPMS, I had both temperature and pressure as default on my car. Not sure whether this was a MY change or what...

I think HU_ENTRY is the basic head unit with the smaller screen and not tech-package... so some things might not be available on that one

Yup, small display.
iDrive startup disclaimer is HU_ENTRY 3001 "A4A_Legal Disclaimer" instead of the "LEGAL_DISCLAIMER_TIME" for HU_NBT.
Temperature TPMS is same name, same results, just under HU_ENTRY.

Trying to find the Halos to turn them to full brightness, but even though my car has same FEM_BODY all four mappings must have different names, cause I can't find those even using the search. Don't want to just start poking buttons and pulling levers at random, least not yet.

I did find "LEGAL_DISCLAIMER_TIME" under HU_ENTRY... All the names are the same for me...
