Advice on Front Splitters
I have had the car for about a month now...and absolutely love it. Its going in for its 1200 mile service this coming weekend. I have done a lot of the IND cosmetic work that I wanted to do already but there are still some stuff in the garage that needs to be installed
-BMW Performance Rear Spoiler (If anyone local to NJ has experience installing this and wants to help me out...let me know) -P3 Gaugue -Beltronics STiR -BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers I was on the fence about the carbon splitters for the front. I have always had bad luck with front lips so I was hoping to install just the splitters. I was hoping to get some feedback on how the car would look with just the front splitters without the front lip. I will try to attach pics of the car as it sits right now. |

About an hour drive from you. I HIGHLY recommend AUTOcouture Motoring in Fair Lawn NJ for a flawless installation of rear spoiler and any other parts you need help with.

I think adding the rear spoiler and rear diffuser will definitely give the car a real mean look |

I really like the splitters + front lip. The front lip is very sturdy, I've dragged and scraped it a few times and no problem, plus it's very cheap to replace. The carbon splitters alone are extremely exposed and if you beta-link them like you are supposed to, getting them off to replace/repair is going to be very difficult. I certainly would not do the splitters without the front lip. If I just wanted a front lip, just wait awhile, people will have new front lips out soon.

OP-
Few options for you: Splitters only: Splitters and lower lip stock: Splitters and painted lower lip: LMK if there is anything we can help you out with. I noticed you mentioned you wanted a P3 gauge, we always stock those |

Did you ever get the spoiler on? Got mine on last night really easy I had a friend come over to give me a hand holding it in place tight while I pulled off the backing on the two sided tape

Wow! The painted lip really makes it look like a complete frontend!! It'd be cool if you guys good make a carbon piece to cover the top of each opening, too, so it'd look like an almost completely enclosed carbon tunnel (except for the innermost part of the bumper).
Even with the carbon splitters the painted lip makes it look more complete. Have you seen anyone do that? |
