Winter tires for 335i LCI Msport

Trying to figure out what are the biggest tires I can run for this setup. The stock tires already seem pretty tight in the fender.

There are quite a few 17s on CL that I'm looking at.

The two that have caught my eye:
225/45/17 all 4 wheels
235/55R17 all 4 wheels

I'm thinking the 235/55R17 won't fit? Also will all 17s fit the E90 msport (no brake mods), or do I have to worry about fitment there too?

Correct, these are much too tall.

I've been running the stock sizes 225/40/18 all around, but I bet you could run 235/40/18 for a little more sidewall protection. Are you sizing up because you're concerned about pot holes?
