Angry Stole My Tire/Wheel!!!

some fucker stole my 1 of my back tires and put a brick under it. I even live in a good area so this shit never happens. I had to fork over 800 bucks () for new tires/rims/wheel lock and wheel sensor.

Word of warning guys, get a wheel lock. I found out the hard way. I always thought bmw's came with it, i was wrong.

I hope whoever he is, he gets whats coming to him.

Sorry man. Worse, they could have taken all 4 if that makes you feel any better.

Wheel lock really doesn't make much of a difference if they are determined to take your wheels. However, it would be a good deterrent for those amateurs

Count yourself fortunate that you could afford replacement; that very thing happened to me about 11 year ago (except they used a flower pot) and I *had* a wheel lock. And I had to buy a used wheel just so I could get the donut off the car.

Sorry to hear... $800??? I know you probably needed something right away, but there are probably some E90post members selling their OEM wheels.

Theres a good chance it is another bmw driver in need of a wheel, after all if the person was doing it for kicks/money wouldn't they have just left the car on the rotor, without taking the time to put the car on bricks?

That sucks bro. Hope the asshole get hit by a car and suffers a slow death.

My neighbor's Chrystler 300M w/ 22" chrome just had all 4 wheels jacked while parked down the block from our house. Left work in the morning and saw it on 4 concrete blocks. It had wheel locks and we live in a good neighborhood too. Had to help him put his stocks back on when I came home from work. You can never be too careful these days!

Where in SoCal did this happened in? I'm sorry to hear about this. I've seen cars with all 4 wheels stolen and all 4 rotors are put on bricks. If they want it bad enough, they'll take it, sadly. Even with a wheel lock, they can compress it out.

wheel locks offer some protection but remember, based on the thieves I have known in my youth, they say 90% of the times the key for the wheel lock is in the glove box (ie.don't leave the key for the wheel lock in the glove box).

Same thing was true for pop-off face stereos, but do those still exist?

They work in team, and have power tools. They usually don't do it on the spot, and have targets they look out for. This is a weird instance because they stole an OEM wheel.
